The Big Idea

To distribute and amplify The Big Idea, MIT Solve’s docu-series on their initiative to supports social innovators working to solve the most intractable problems, PPC created a distribution and marketing strategy with a 360-degree approach. Working closely with MIT Solve and funding partner HP, PPC executed a plan that combined paid media, partnerships, earned PR, social media, and film festival campaigns.

Campaign Highlights

  • Created a hybrid partnership with Conde Nast’s Glamour Magazine, combining paid promotion, social and editorial elements across all CN channels, resulting in 330K film views & 910K impressions.

  • Official Selection at 18 Film Festivals, including Tribeca X and Brand Storytelling 2024, a sanctioned event of the Sundance Film Festival.

  • Winner of 11 festival & industry awards.

  • Won a public voting campaign for panels at the 2024 SXSW Conference.

  • Secured speaking opportunities for MIT Solve and the film team at Advertising Week, BrandStorytelling and Urbanworld.

  • Social campaign and grassroots collaboration with like-minded organizations such as Irth, Girl Rising and DEG.

  • Featured in 8 media stories, with an exclusive trailer premiere on ComingSoon.net.
