"Trango" Premiere Screening Event at The North Face Store during Sundance

Challenge

  • PPC was tasked with screening The North Face feature film “Trango,” featuring world-class The North Face alpine athletes by transforming a barren patio space next to The North Face’s store on Main Street into a VIP Sundance screening venue in 10 days.

Solution

  • The PPC events team installed a 100-inch screen on top of a 35-foot fireplace along with seating for 60, a reception area, and festive lighting to create a true ski town atmosphere for this ski adventure film.

  • The team set up a Step & Repeat, catering stations, a Hot Chocolate & Cider Bar, and gifted TNF merchandise to all attendees.

  • The film subjects Christina Lusti and Jim Morrison were on hand to participate in the Q&A after the screening.

Result

  • The event was completely SRO, with dozens of fans watching from Main Street as well. The PPC PR team ensured Sundance media came out in droves, including Vogue, Variety, New York Times, Esquire, and Deadline.

  • Media coverage from the event included RIDEPLAY.tv, CinemaFemme, KSL Radio, and Park Record.

Armadillo World Headquarters Pop-Up Store

Challenge

  • While re-launching the brand, Armadillo World Headquarters wanted to come up with a way to engage with the Austin music and arts community and boost brand awareness in a way that preserved the spirit of the original 1970s music venue.
    The PPC and AWH teams had three months to utilize this pop-up space to its fullest potential.

Solution

  • We created a community space and programmed events featuring Austin musicians and artists.

  • All merchandise sales went directly back to charity organizations that support Austin artists and musicians.

  • We partnered with local sponsors and engaged the media to draw attention to the store and its cause.

Result

  • AWH raised $100K+ for Austin artist and musicians. The activation programmed 80+ live music performances, earned 1.3B media impressions, and had 18,000 visitors in 90 days.

"Wake Up" Premiere Event at ChefDance during Sundance
  • PPC was challenged with launching and marketing HP's film "Wake Up" directed by Emmy winner Olivia Wilde and starring Margaret Qualley.

 

  • The PPC team created and produced a world premiere screening event during the Sundance Film festival at the famed Chef Dance venue, with a menu curated by renowned Chef Gabriela Cámara.

 

  • The event was written about as one of the hot parties to attend by Variety and was SRO with over 100 media on the waiting list.
