In The Sun 

PPC was engaged to launch and market Neutrogena's documentary "In The Sun," with executive producer and Film/TV star Kerry Washington, as well as their new studio, Neutrogena Studios, providing PR, marketing, and digital distribution services with the goals of drawing viewers to the new studio's content hub and spreading awareness about sun safety.

Campaign Highlights

  • PPC executed test screenings with iScreeningRoom and post-screening surveys showed 95% of the audience highly rated the film for educating and inspiring sun safe behavior.

  • PPC created a partnership between Neutrogena and the Tribeca Film festival to produce the NYC premiere and screen the trailer before all Tribeca screenings.

  • Exclusive Trailer Premiere:  Leading media publication “Variety” hosted an exclusive trailer premiere including an Interview with Executive Producer Kerry Washington.

  • PPC launched an education  program where over 2000 schools screened "In The Sun," and used  custom curriculum materials with lessons on sun safety.

  • The film was an Official Selection at 21 International film festivals and went on to win Best Environmental Short Documentary at the Seattle Film Festival.

  • In The Sun was a Winner of a Gold Effie Award, Telly and Digiday Award for Best Brand Film.

  • We negotiated licensing deals with five  major digital streaming platforms.

  • Winner of an Effie Award in the Personal Care category, and Best Brand Film from Digiday Video & TV Awards.
