Not The Science Type
PPC was engaged to co-produce, launch and market 3M’s docu-series Not The Science Type, which follows four female scientists who are challenging stereotypes and confronting gender, racial and age discrimination in what was traditionally a male-dominated field.
Campaign Highlights

We created an earned and paid distribution strategy targeting premium media outlets, digital distribution, and a world premiere event at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Comic and talk show host, Loni Love, hosted the premiere screening and moderated a Q&A with the film subjects.

We negotiated a partnership with Tribeca Festival for a sanctioned event which included showing the film's trailer at 40 screenings during the festival.

On 3M’s YouTube channel, “Not The Science Type” has received over 100K views.

The film was an official selection at 19 film festivals and Winner of the Most Inspirational Film Award at the American Documentary & Animation Film Festival.
